Professional Experience

Ms. Filicia has represented homeowners in construction defect litigation since 1987. Her diverse background enables her to successfully resolve complex legal matters. Ms. Filicia has negotiated multi-million dollar settlements on behalf of homeowner associations and individual homeowners with respect to their construction defect claims. In addition, she has successfully resolved personal injury and wrongful death claims relating to construction defects and mold.

She has experience pursuing SB 800 claims against builders and contractors. She also represent and advise homeowner associations on business matters and community association law.

Ms. Filicia has been an Adjunct Professor at California Western School of Law where she taught the course on Construction Defect Litigation.

Ms. Filicia is married to Jim Filicia who is also an attorney. They are the proud parents of three children: TJ, Kristen, and Lauren who are all actively involved in the sports of baseball and softball.
